Don’t isolate yourself

Sometimes you may feel like you are the only one “going through”, and no one else understands your pain. Let me tell you, there are millions of hurting people, people who do not have it all together, people with scars, people with wounds so deep and some so incredibly sore that it just takes a word or a look to open the scab and create fresh hurt on top of hurt. Trouble will show you who is with you. If the phone does not ring or the cards and visits do not come, you have got to encourage yourself. There are a lot of folks saying I am down for the count. Some people have already written me off.  BUT, I am about to let them know that they cannot eulogize me.
My life is just beginning.
